Hello, I am trying to create weapon animations, I want to capture a video of the attack and then redraw select frames as sprites to be used in the attack animation.
With my current setup (my phone on a tripod squished as close to my neck as possible) my hand is too close to the camera, despite me leaning as much forward as I can, so the weapon is "too big" on the screen (see attached video). I thought that some games did use this process for weapon animation but I cannot get it to work, is there something I am missing or is this approach just not viable?
